Arrival at Ben-Gurion Airport

Optional transfer to our hotel in Jerusalem. Meet the rest of the group and our tour guide who will give a short preview of the program for the tour. Enjoy a good night’s sleep after your long journey.

Old Jerusalem – the Holy City

We start our day with a visit to the Mount of Olives for a stunning view of the old city. We the the ancient core of Jerusalem – the City of David. Then 2000 years old Underground street will link us to the famous western wall and Davidson center, the well-preserved remnants of the Jewish Temple. After lunch, we tour the Jewish Quarter including the Cardo – the main Roman thoroughfare. We continue to the Christian Quarter and walk to the famous Church of the Holy Sepulcher. A concise walk takes us into the Arab bazaar and from there to Mount Zion with the room of the last supper and King David’s tomb. A short ride to the energetic Machane Yehuda Market for a delicious culinary tour at the end of the day.

Modern Jerusalem

A visit to Yad Vashem, the memorial and museum about the darkest days in Jewish history, the holocaust.

The world-famous Israel Museum with the Dead Sea Scrolls and many other unique exhibits.

Our next stop is a guided tour of the Knesset, Israel’s Parliament, the center of Israel’s modern democracy.

Masada & The Dead Sea

From the hills of Jerusalem, we drive to the lowest place in the world, and in a surprisingly short time. Visit the Beautiful Ein Gedi Oasis and nature reserve. A spectacular tour of Masada with its mountaintop fortress.

Stop for a float on the salty waters of the Dead Sea.

After a leisurely breakfast take a walk around the city of Jerusalem taking in the sights of your choice. The tour guide will be happy to offer some tips as to how to enjoy your free day.

To the North

We start our day at the Jordan River, near Jericho, where the Israelites crossed to the promised land, and John baptized Jesus—then going Up to the Roman ruins of Bet Shean, the Best preserved Roman city in Israel. A Drive to Nazareth, through the famous Jezreel valley, know as the valley of armageddon, visit in the church of annunciation in Nazareth. We will end our day in the mystical old town of Safed with its atmospheric Artists Quarter and Kabbalist Quarter Overnight in the North.

Galilee and Golan Heights

Capernaum synagogue – with its rich Christian history. Further North to the Banias river nature reserve, one of the rivers draining the waters from Mount Hermon into the Jordan River. A visit to the Early Medieval Nimrod Fortress. A joyful Lunch at a Druz restaurant in Majdal Shams.

Further up into the Golan Heights for spectacular views that underline this region’s strategic importance, from Mount Bental. A Visit to the famous Golan Winery.

The North Shore

We start the day in ancient Akko, a magical old city on the shore of the Mediterranian and the best-preserved Crusader city in the world.

We continue north to Haifa’s port city and a visit to the world-famous Ba’hai Gardens, one of the holiest sites of the Ba’hai religion, located on Mount Carmel. We End the Day in Caesarea, the capital of the land for 600 years. With its Roman theater, port, Hippodrome, and aqueduct. Caesarea’s history is intertwined with Jewish, Christian, and Moslem History.

Old Jaffa and the Hills of Judea

A visit to Old Jaffa and its port underlines the fascinating contrast between the modern city of Tel Aviv and its ancient neighbor.

A short journey to the foothills of Judea, into the Ella valley where David vanquished Goliath and to the Bet Guvrin National Park with its labyrinth of caves used many years ago for hiding, burial, storage and more.
