I have been in Israel two times, this was my third but it felt like it was my very first time. My wife and I led by Eli who was very passionate and he has the knowledge to back it up. You see it make a difference when your guide loves his country and the ability to share the jewels of Israel. We got to Israel from a cruise and we only had 3 days but saying that we saw everything that we wanted to see. Eli showed us the site's took us in secret passageways, gave us a lifetime of experiences that we will never forget. In 3 days we had the taste the desire and the passion. All boxes were checked and thanks To Eli for his behind the scenes tours and keeping us away from the traffic with his knowledge of Israel. Thank you Eli and Happy New Year
I highly recommend Eli for touring Israel. I've been in Israel more than 10 times and had only done "Group Bus Tours" previously. In addition to recommending Eli, I definitely recommend finding some friends and doing a private tour. We picked out the sights we wanted to see and told him we had 5 days to work with. We saw the famous sites as well as some off of the beaten path. If you let him know what your interest is, he will not disappoint. He is also very knowledgeable and adds another dimension. I went to Caesarea for the third time and learned many new things! We had up to 13 people depending on the day with varying levels of energy and Eli made it all work. We made a hotel in Ramat Gan (Kfar Maccabiah) our home base and left every day from there with Eli. Our driver was "Shabby" who I also definitely recommend.
We spent three days with Eli touring Jerusalem, the Dead Sea, Masada, Bethlehem. We had a private tour with another couple and it couldn't have been better. We left with such a greater perspective on what we saw due the expertise of our guide, Eli. I couldn't imagine a better experience. Highly recommend Tzur tours!
Eli has an encyclopedic knowledge of the history, geography and geology of Israel and an infectious enthusiasm which adds enormously to his tours. He looked after us for 4 days and we travelled North & South - Golan and Negev - 10 national parks - walked to waterfalls, in the desert and by the Dead Sea - explored ancient ruins and caves - ate local food and spotted wildlife. When rain forced a change of plan, he found alternative activities which were thoroughly enjoyable. I couldn't recommend him more highly. Judith S.Visited February 2017
