The Jerusalem sifting project allows you to engage an important archeological work side by side with an expert archaeologists and diggers, The Jerusalem sitting project also known as The Temple Mount Sifting Project started on 2005 after the “Waqf” – Islamic religious trust of the Temple mount decided to build an underground mosque on the Temple Mount the work was conducted in a brutal way with bulldozers (instead a gentele brush) and destroyed thousands years of history, the project goal is to recover the archaeological artifacts from 400 truckloads of topsoil removed from the Temple Mount by the waqf. Today you can come and contribute to this important Job while you touch the history with your hands and finding ancient remnants from the past.
